Quality Awards 2017

Our Quality Awards 2017 celebrating excellence primary care across south east Essex, took place on 7 November 2017 at the end of the Time to Learn session at the Skylark Hotel. Dr Terry Kemple, President of the Royal College of GPs hosted the awards.

The initiative acknowledges the contribution of the whole practice team, because quality is the responsibility of every individual. We aimed to encourage innovation, showcase ideas, share good practice and highlight successes.

There were five awards nominated by staff from CCG member practices and one nominated by the public - the People's Choice award.

The other categories, nominated by CCG and member practice staff, were: Innovation, Leadership, Public engagement, Unsung hero and Using technology to improve quality

A review panel, including external stakeholders, evaluated all the nominations and agreed the winners for each category.
