Castle Point & Rochford CCG is urging parents and guardians of 10 -16 year olds to check whether their child has had both of their MMR jabs.

If they have not had the required two doses of the vaccine or you are not sure, contact your local GP surgery to discuss and arrange getting the MMR jabs. Young people who are aged 16 and over, and who are uncertain about their immunisation status should also come forward to get vaccinated. Everyone can have the vaccine as long as it is medically advisable for them to do so.

NHS 111 is now available

111logoAs of 19 March 2013, NHS Direct is no longer available in south Essex. NHS 111 is now available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and all calls are free, including from mobiles. NHS 111 will assess you, provide advice and direct you straight away to the local service that can help you best.
