NHS Castle Point and Rochford Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has been rated ‘Good’ by the NHS England annual assurance process, the only CCG in Essex to have achieved this rating.
The CCG has been commended for being well led, with strong governance in place. The CCG has won 2 national awards, including ‘CCG of the year’ and achieved very positive feedback in both staff and stakeholder surveys.
The organisation was also praised in relation to work it has carried out around governance arrangements, commissioning of local primary care services and achieving its financial plan.
