How we make decisions

Governing Body Meetings

This page provides information on our public meetings of the Governing Body including future dates, attendance guidance and previous Governing Body meeting papers and minutes: http://castlepointandrochfordccg.nhs.uk/about-us/our-governing-body/governing-body-meetings

Public meetings of the Governing Body of NHS Castle Point and Rochford CCG are held regularly. This means members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the meetings.

Members of the public wishing to attend the meetings can find copies of the agenda and other papers here on our website before the date of the Board meeting.

From time to time, the Board may need to consider agenda items which are confidential and cannot be discussed in public. If this is the case, a private session will be held at the meeting, from which the public will be excluded.

Patient group meetings

Our patient group – called the Commissioning Reference Group (CRG) – meets every other month.  At these meetings patients and the public can influence decisions about local healthcare, bring any issues, concerns, or good news stories, to the group.   The group is made up of a cross section of local residents who represent different groups and provide us with the patients’ view and experiences, giving their input into many of our commissioning decisions. The group is also actively involved in many of our projects and campaigns.  The CRG has dedicated GP leadership and consistent input from Healthwatch Essex.
